As parents and grandparents, the most precious gift we could ever hope to give our children and grandchildren is teaching them about God’s love for them. With His help, we can teach them from an early age who Jesus is and how important it is to have a personal relationship with Him.

In fact, Jesus himself said, “Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 19″14

Luke 18:17 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.

Mark 10:13-16 And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them: and [his] disciples rebuked those that brought [them].

Matthew 21:16 And said unto him, hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise?

Songs are a wonderful way to teach children Bible stories. They’re also a great way to help them praise the Lord. “Addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with your heart,”  Ephesians 5:19 “Make music to the LORD with the harp, with the harp and the sound of singing,”  Psalm 98:5

“Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing.” Psalm 100 1-2
